January '08 Update

New Year, new happenings... same heart, same burden.

Bonne Année everyone! Can you believe another year is gone?!? And that tomorrow is February 1sNOPHP!
I can't!
I also can't believe that in a few short days I will be flying to the states to visit you all for a few weeks!
I'll arrive Tuesday night the 5th. But first...
- I want to ask you all to praise the Lord with me for a wonderful time spent with a team from Dayton and Xenia Christian . We hosted fifteen here which was a feat in itself, but the Lord gave us a great time together. The girls helped us distribute over 6500 fliers about our church in mailboxes all over town!!! We actually have thousands more that we plan on giving out. In these fliers we have contact info, an offer for a free Bible, and a brief bio of our church and what we believe. It was quite the process putting these together as we wanted to give accurate information, but be sensitive to the cultural ignorance about the christian church. People often assume we are a cult, so we went about this prayerfully and are excited to see what God's going to do! We've already had one lady call in who was interested in coming and bringing her kids. Even if she's the only one, its worth it!
- Be in prayer for this Sunday . We have an annual business meeting at church with lots of decisions to make. This helps set the tone and direction for what ministries we will pursue during the year.
- I'd appreciate prayer as well for some contacts that I've shared with but will now not see for a month. I plan on emailing, so pray that our relationships would continue to grow and that I can show them love... even from afar.
- About my time at home : I'd love to get together with any and all! I already have several things scheduled, so be in prayer for times spent with church, Sunday schools, high schools, and individuals. I want to accurately share my heart and burden. Pray that God would use these times to further His work!
